They're not going to stop. Why the shade, you ask? Because they're jealous, so they replace those feelings with assumed feelings of superiority. This why they can't stop.

@Magicianzini unfortunately

OK. Not to dismiss what you're saying but when that takes places it's most often around mistakes we've made as a society or dramatic shifts. I highly doubt anyone who is older is realistically thinking there will be a return to the "good 'ol days" People compare generations because the differences are stark. If you knew life before the internet you'd make the comparison too. It changed the game.

But there are some constants that intrinsically exist with maturation..

One is 18-21 year olds telling older people they're not understood. Or that older people just don't get it. Nah. We get it. You will too when you're older and an 18 year old tells you the way things are or how they should be. That's how humans roll. It's always happened and it always will. 👍

I do not hate other generations ,but I find some of the arguments and the seriousness around it somewhat humorous.
You see it as the generations changing and there's nothing you can do about it -we are products of our generation as well.
I actually find it quite sad when people can't laugh about things and get offended about everything ,not saying that's you.

@Justmeraeagain sorry if you think that I take things like this seriously, and I understand your point, but I think, it's also important to understand the differences of generations and accept them, instead of comparing
The generations have much to teach each other, both good and bad. What works, what doesn’t work, what can be improved upon, what’s valuable to hold onto. To close ourselves off from looking at that would be foolish. The problem arises when we vilify generations which gets us nowhere.
It would be interesting to know which generation is the biggest bunch of supremacists about their's.

I'd say X Supremacists are the most common, and Z supremacists might be the least.

You will do the same thing in a few years. Guaranteed.
SandraMercado · 18-21, F
@uncalled4 hmm? Maybe? Maybe not? The thing is, it's still sometimes unfair, don't you think?
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@SandraMercado I do think it's a tad prejudicial.
Yes. You're not a country, never been in a community, you're not a generation!
One at a time and meaningless!
Nobody.
SandraMercado · 18-21, F
@Roundandroundwego i kinda don't get what you mean
@SandraMercado a generation has meaning only if you're together and remembering the things you all know. That's so not possible!
We boomers were aware of US aggression, the environment problem, sexism and social inequality, together, as big events happened. So we're a generation. Not going to happen again.
SandraMercado · 18-21, F
@Roundandroundwego my only point in this is to stop comparing one generation to another
