Can one be too complex for one's own good nowadays?

I sense that the habit of not having a profile pic on SW is already the actual admittance that people aren't bothered any more. Not that I throw everyone on to the same pile, because that's just it, why do we do that? Doesn't anyone see that having an ambassador to Israel claiming first that one needs to listen to the people and then, after being confronted with the opinion poles pointing against a war with Iran, changes that exact opinion in near to his next sentence, is indeed pointless? Like many before me, I do hope that the present generation of young people are indeed better than us, but there's a definite lowering of intellectual levels too which will lead again to be the same people who don't bother
