As I was watching
The John Candy documentary, i was once again reminded of what we have been robbed of by the older generations.
Back in the 70's to the early 90's, there were groups of artistic people who all worked together. They started their careers together, helped one another and created some of the most memorable and wonderful art we have ever seen.
When the older generations turned to greed of business and quick money schemes in the late 80's till today, we were robbed of these organic groups that formed and came together to create amazing things.
Now we are all sequestered in our lovong spaces, only coming out to work till exhausted, and going back to maybe eat and sleep. Because of the greed of the older generations, the younger ones are forced to work eternally, never being able to explore and enjoy who they are and what their contributions to society and culture could have been.
That always makes me sad and angry at how much we have had stolen from us simply for the desire to hoard money.
