I guess I'm from Generation Jones.

Born between 1954 and 1965? You might be part of the forgotten generation—Generation Jones—wedged awkwardly between Boomers and Gen X.

I was born in 1961. My brother was born in '49.
There really was a difference between our generations. The community changed massively in those years. Missed the vietnam war by, "that much" but we were always under the shadow of a mushroom cloud while watching men hop around on the moon ome week and captain Kirk or Dean Martin take teleporters or firepoles. Lassie, Disney, Flipper, and the Seaview were free. The Beetles were putting out new music every week in the 60s, Disco was hot in the 70s, and everything was fantastic on the radio and eight tracks in the eighties. My brother grew up in a world before civil rights and womens liberation. They still had "obey" in their wedding vows.

Glad I'm a Jones.

Where does the "Jones" come from ? I was born in 1960, so I guess I qualify, but I’ve never heard of this before. 🤔

@Tastyfrzz But why is it called "Jones" ? And who came up with it ? If it’s a reference to Jim Jones, you can keep that, I’d rather stay a boomer. 🤨
