I do respect what others say be it in one direction, the opposite or what is between.
But I do it for respect of those others as human felows and can´t extend such respect to WHAT is said.
In those terms, regardles of whom may be nearer to truth (and I suspect that no one is) I find the problem in itself as empty as the the debate of medieval scholasticism about "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" .
Faith on the core stuff of each one believes is or may be good.
Those barroque interpretatons (ones and the others) on what IMO is "detail" theology are (again just and only IMO) nonsense.
