I get some women are traditional, and really like being a housewife with no bigger responsibilities than burning a roast or getting their laundry off the line before it rains . I DO !
Hell, I'd love a lifestyle as easy as that : no problems, no stress, no freaking out over bills or late for work or dealing with bosses or stress at work ....no 5 am starts. Just folding sheets , and doing dishes and having time to play around looking pretty .

But unfortunately....I don't live in an era where one wage brings up kids. Or a hubby bought our house.

Most of us don't have time to look pretty, or worry about petty shit like how others dress. We work, we get on with what we have to, we pay bills, pump our own tires, unblock our own sinks - and when it stops ....we crash on the couch .

And this person thinks it's funny to degrade how others live ....for fun .

This is all they have - shitting on others .🙄

Norms change depending upon environment and era.
Difference is what makes us change and grow as a society .

It's a different age now. And so was the transitional one when inflation REALLY started to happen .
We don't live in an era of common opulence any more. It's gone for the average person .

Honestly ...I'm not sure what women do who stay home all day ...besides watch tv and chat on media. It's what I do on my days off 🤷
But I couldn't do it everyday without going crazy.
I think it's healthy to have some sort of a job - it keeps you grounded and keeps you current .

@OogieBoogie My Dad was an RN in the 70's when it was very low paying, and men in the field were ridiculed. He wanted to be a dr, but the GI bill would only give him enough for nursing school. Being disabled I'm not able to work anymore, so I am just glad I am an avid reader.
