What do you think when you drive through a student town...

..and see all the multicoloured hair and also many of them have tattoos too?

At the student town which I drive through often, it's enough to make one quite despondent for the prospects of the next generation.

2. I have been doing that for the last 30 years and my prospects are just fine thx.
3. The kids’ prospects are far more hindered by the greed and damage caused by the generations that came before them.

@Roundandroundwego the ‘youth’ have got their shit together in ways that prior generations couldn’t even imagine. And yet they’re being judged and their wisdom ignored because ppl don’t like their hair or body modifications. You call that thinking?

@summersong their body modification says nothing to me about their character or politics. It says their aesthetics are avoiding reality. Maybe they can process human rights, international law or even environmental policies. But it's not obvious by looking.
