@MasterLee You are using it in scientific mode. It would give 9 if you use it in standard mode.

You did addition before multiplication.

@MasterLee I entered in sequence what was in the question. But it is how non-scientific calculator calculates. This has been discussed in the thread I shared. While it seems you are not able to switch to standard mode, or your app doesn't provide that option.


Please note, this is scientific mode.

@MasterLee Standard(basic) calculator doesn't have parenthesis(bracket) option, your all screenshots are of scientific calculator.

@MasterLee I know. I was telling why and which calculator was giving 9. Have you seen I answered it 59 when I answered for myself. I understand the rules. I myself have developed calculator apps.
