Those of you who are annoyed Israel is defending itself again should visit Auschwitz, and be honest!

The Israelis, as Jews, will NEVER let this happen again, and instead of unfriendly Europeans all around them then they have unfriendly Arabs and Muslims....

I'm not Jewish, I'm Christian, and my Lord Jesus was born a Jew, so I feel with reflection we can see why the Israelis might seem heavy handed.

Yes, Auschwitz was terrible as was Pol Pott's demolition in the 70's and the Hutus of the Tutsi' in the 90's.

But to say a Nuclear Power such as Israel is justified in using Heavy Handedness is ridiculous.

Just as ridiculous as the justification of bombing the offices of the sources of International coverage of these events.

@Zeusdelight Do you want them to go nuclear? I think they are quite restrained in a very provocative situation, yes it might seem Hamas is in a David and Goliath situation, but now many Muslims surround Israel? They are heavy handed to dissuade the others getting involved! They have fresh memories of how much the Israelis will make them pay for attacking them!

@Zeusdelight Not at all! I'm defending Israel's right to exist! Why is it that no one condemns America for Afghanistan and Iraq, but the Israelis defend themselves against unprovoked attack gets such scorn! Or is it that 2001 was such a long time ago?

@Lust4Life You would have a very heated debate as to whether it is defence or aggression. You are defending a country that has been defying the United Nations and supported by the US.

Hardly, tenets of a just war.
