Have you ever protested seeing four burly cops sitting on top of one slim black guy?

wanted to march in sympathy but it tends to descend into riots and i'm a little bit of the sentiment that riots are the language of the unheard but The trouble is simply that I don't want to put my relatives through the fear.

I'm a little bit too sensitive to my mother and how it would scare the shit out of her to see her darling son out there as people smashed windows and started fires...

Also I'm in the ground zero metro area for that exact scenario to happen our city has been affectionately dubbed by politicans "little beirut" before. I think some of us kind of take pride in the monkier but they didn't mean it as a compliment but we don't care.

@BetweenKittensandRiots Ground Zero, NYC? Do you listen to conspiracy theories? There were no Jews in the twin towers on that day, and the gold reserves in the vault had been transferred. And why did building seven fall too? There are lots who believe it was staged to get homeland security bill through congress and remove your fundamental and constitutional rights!
@Lust4Life nooo not NYC, out here in Portland, I mean like it's one of the most likely places in the entire country for a riot to happen downtown. Portland will riot over damn nearly anything. the city is very unstable politically. order is not well maintained. its very difficult for LE to even maintain order.
