I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

“ If you and my son get a divorce , I rather not be a part of my grandchildren’s life at all “

Well, I was being nice when I told her that I would love for her to be a part of the children’s life no matter how the reconciliation efforts end and in all honesty her answer brought me a sense of relief .
However , I still can’t understand this one!
What kind of a grandmother would say that?
Maybe someone here can explain that to me ..

It is possible that she spoke these words in a moment of anger ... perhaps hoping to hurt you with them, but not genuinely meaning them ... only time will tell.

You can't control her actions, only your own. If you do separate, then all you can do is provide opportunities for her to see your kids ... whether she will or not is up to her.
