I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

Well, I was being nice when I told her that I would love for her to be a part of the children’s life no matter how the reconciliation efforts end and in all honesty her answer brought me a sense of relief .
However , I still can’t understand this one!
What kind of a grandmother would say that?
Maybe someone here can explain that to me ..

She will disown her grandchildren if you divorce her son ? When they grow up they will understand the truth.

They already knnow how things go ...
If they ever stay at her place , she refuses to feed them until Theron father gets there. No matter how hungry they are!
All that matters to her is to keep her food optimal temperature and quality till my husband gets to her house !
No one I know does that! Regardless of culture or generation ...🙄

Good. No one I know does that either. There have been family and friends that have gotten divorced in the past but the grandparents loved and took care of their grandchildren no matter what happened. They didn't blame the kids or create more pain for them. Sorry to hear that Nilou. @SW-User.
