I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

Well, I was being nice when I told her that I would love for her to be a part of the children’s life no matter how the reconciliation efforts end and in all honesty her answer brought me a sense of relief .
However , I still can’t understand this one!
What kind of a grandmother would say that?
Maybe someone here can explain that to me ..

You are probably right !
I’m ok.
It actually made me feel a bit relieved .
No matter how much of a pain in the neck she has been, I really didn’t want her to be hurt by not having the children around much.
Seems like that not a concern anyway 😏
