I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

I can usually put the pieces together behind someones actions easily. I don't care what they tell me because it's usually a lie. They know how embarrassing the truth behind their actions are Lol.

I look at some of these narratives some of these "psychologist" support and all I can think to myself is... bs.

Maybe sometimes I'm wrong but all I can really say is that actions speak louder than words.

Ok, here's one of mine, if you ask somebody a question and they answer too quickly they are hiding something. I've done this myself when I told a lie and realised if the recipient was perceptive they would spot it, they were government 'professionals' and didn't. Another time when I employed this myself, was when I tried to get a work night out sorted, there were 4 of us and 2 of the others(both married) were seeing each other. I realised it wasn't going to happen because they were always 'too busy' so told the fourth who instantly went into a monologue about how they were both busy and what the reasons were. I knew at this point he was trying to cover for them.

As a man I realise I can tell things like that but when my partner is dropping hints - no chance of decoding it.

One is when they are too busy. I remember back in highschool. I liked a girl and asked her out to ghe dance. She said she was sick and she didnt want to go to it anyway. So I go to the dance alone. I see her not only healthy, but coming in with a man on her arm. Gee I hope thats her doctor I thought. So I made it a point to walk up to her and look her in the eye and say, " im so glad you are feeling better" I hope that flu wasnt too bad on you. " Then walked off. She knew I had her.

@littlebit: Over a year later, I still miss your extremely thoughtful posts... like this one, for example. :)

So true ..... I love how they quote a point that is not even close to what the authority said .....

What i look for here is what individuals have to say about their own experiences in life ...

@MrW888 Please share. I don't know how to really explain how I know someone is lying. I think it's a intuition kind of thing. I'll have to thing about it...

Hmmm... perhaps psychologists have to "explain it away" or they would be wasting all that education, eh? :P Is pathological lying a mental illness or disorder?

I have picked up a couple of small tricks myself about how to detect a lie, does anybody else have any?
littlebit · 26-30, F
@MrW888 Yeah. I've picked up on that first point you made.
Oh yes, my ex lied to me. I knew she was because I had the proof.
One is an internet search
