Oh, i have this at work. Currently about twice a week.
Its been going in for years - nearly did me in.
Luckily half the gang that were doing it left.
Also happened to me long term in a relationship.
Anywho.... it's been a RIDE !
Thing is, EVERYTHING can be a learning experience.
But ..... now...
...now im not so sure.
Now i think its their 'way of dealing' that they've fallen into.
Everyone knows, when you are in a crisis your deeper nature, or your inner fear surfaces.
And some will DO ANYTHING....to push that fear away. Even hurt innocents.
'Better them than me' attitude.
And as much as i dont like how they operate, what they do, and the pain they cause.....i feel sorry for them.
Their attitude is its own prison:
- pushes everyone away
- denies any abilty to address the real problem
- its negative self fulfilling behavior.
The more they do it, the more people they awaken to their nature, and the more isolated they become.
I DO think its potentially related to Cluster B personality disorders like BPD and ASPD. And depending in how extreme, these people could even be classifed as Psychotic.
But then..... these things develop from early trauma inflicted upon said people. Their narcissism or whatever is a result, not so much a cause.
What makes it worse is..... society is structured to reward these types. Thus making it near impossible for them to ever reconsider their choices.🫤
