They’ve blocked me because I found them out but be aware of user ‘KateAnderson’

Just trying to have a casual chat and they tried to hit on me and ‘meet up’ with a fake pfp which is linked to a model on the other side of the world.

They are not to be trusted.

They’ve been reported but the admins on here are extremely inept so this’ll have to do as well.

I guess people who mistake SW for a dating site are the most at risk. I’m not looking for a boyfriend/husband, or anything more than conversation. I can be an anonymous confidant, a shoulder to cry on (and a couple of people have had my phone number for that purpose).

@ThirstenHowl Possibly because of an incident that preceded the closure of EP—a man and woman met up and the woman was killed.

@bijouxbroussard and just to remove any ambiguity, EP didn't shut down because of that, as is so often erroneously spread here on SW:

(By that SW rumor mill logic, Craiglist would've shut down many years ago, and the official excuses EP made in that archived statement above haven't stopped SW or any other smaller social site from complying with new regulations.)

@ThirstenHowl I’m aware that that one incident didn’t prompt EP’s closure, but I remember when it happened. EP wasn’t a dating site either, but anywhere people connect, things happen. I was just speculating whether or not it could’ve been a factor in SW also not being set up specifically as a dating site.
