This is an actual description given as to why people attend funerals voiced by the director in charge of the proceedings at the late Senator Joseph McCarthy.. a LARGE gathering had shown up for his funeral.
Some times people go to funerals so as to pay their respects to the memory of the Departed and show support for their family. Some times people show up to make sure the Son of a Bitch is really DEAD..
