She sounds like someone no-one can trust.
I'm so tired of blaming the person who tries. As if everyone has the same upbringing, same choices and chances, same support.
She screwed up, even people privileged with support can screw up.
Is it dumb to do what she did, sure. Especially with a kid.
But what's the point in bashing her for it? How does that help anyone or anything?
No where is there any mention of what that man said, did or promised, but yeah let's definitely blame the single woman trying for a better life in this shit hole country.

@EldritchFox was she trying though? My issue is not that she tried but that shedecided everything was someone else's fault without taking accountability for her decisions.
To be honest, the man didn't say much at all. But what he said verified everything she said. That it was all her decisions.
