why is it ok for women to hit men but when men hit women, it's a problem?

It’s a “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” thing. Think it’s seen that a man should be able to control his emotions enough to never hit a woman in a moment of heated emotion. He should be the one in more control, even if she’s being a lot.
That restraint given the behavior and words of some women when they only want to destroy a man…it says a lot about a man’s respect for a woman even if she doesn’t have any.
It’s simply the way a man has always expected to be.
Could also be the fact of the difference of strength in a man and a woman. Normally a man could do more physical damage of the two, but I don’t know. I’ve known women who could definitely give a man a good fight and the emotional scarring she could give him with her words alone…yikes.
