@RedRider72: Ah, how is it going ?
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: life has it's up's and down's.. (I know bad pun 🙄)

How about you?
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: Same :/ Still have trouble with emotions like anger etc.
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: yeah, when I get angry, I get angry with myself and take it out on me..yesterday was sort of a euphoric day for me, so I'm expecting a crash today or tomorrow :( At least I've identified when these events occur and can kinda prepare for them a little bit ... it's only taken me about a decade though to realize it
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: A decade 😮 I am going through a low now coz I went on a 4 day trip and was very happy. At the end of the day though, something bad happened while everyone moved on I kept brooding on it for an entire day and I am just slowly getting back to normal. Yes I was a great person for 4 days and I spoiled it by acting like a jerk in the end. *I cant wait for a decade for managing this*

@wanderingsoul: well, I meant to say that after a decade I finally realized the "pattern"..I've learned to recognize the ups and downs..and I can identify with what happened to you..do you get headaches after a crash?
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: I see the pattern already and wish to figure out a way. Not necessarily a headaches, but I feel very exhausted physically until I spend a bit of time alone.
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: Not really sure what you mean by "figure out a way", but for me, I've just accepted that "this is me".. and yes, I too am physically exhausted and mentally spent after a crash..the only recovery for me is being alone and sleeping..
Incongruence · 31-35, F
I dont know either. Coz I am also at a point where I am accepting my position. But you know, I wish to do this in a way that dont hurt the people around me. Most of the time, they dont understand how to handle me and I dont think I can make them understand.
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: yeah, that's tough..i've been married for a very long time, and my spouse doesn't understand..and I don't have the desire or energy trying to explain it to her..so I just tell her "I don't feel good", then go to my solitary place and sleep..
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: If not understanding, its good if they accepted atleast. Are you on meds for this?
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: no..i've heard too many horror stories about those..besides, mine isn't real extreme like others.. I too "crash" after having a good time..it's like I'm not meant to be happy..the crash brings me back to a neutral point..kinda like a pendulum swinging..from one extreme to the other in order to achieve a "balanced neutral"
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: the same with me. I guess everybody is meant to be happy...and sad. Some just have it in extremes. they are just meant to be intense.
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: I suppose..but people like us don't seem to come to a neutral point after being happy like most people do..we seem to have to go to the negative side before neutrality is achieved :/
Incongruence · 31-35, F
@RedRider72: Arent you the best version of yourself when you are hyper? some people never seem to get to their best, I almost consider it boring.
RedRider72 · M
@wanderingsoul: well..sometimes yes, sometimes no..I can be so happy that I become an asshole... :/
Incongruence · 31-35, F
Lol was just talking about the positives
