Can there be a reason why I always feel disheartened?

There are probably several. Finding the one that makes you feel better should be the focus.

There's a reason for everything. No way for me to know your specific circumstances. It's something you have to think about, for yourself.

Him... if you are indeed in India, there is much to be disheartened about, yet there is much to be hopeful about as well. :)

high expectations, bad judgement about people, wrong choices. All those and many more can be reasons.
