What don't you need to be reminded of but get reminded of anyway?

I’ve been dealing with a defective aortic valve that’s caused congestive heart failure and pretty nagging and consistent shortness of breath. I know everyone means well when I have a spell where I’m short of breath and/or lightheaded, so I only smile, nod, and agree. However, just between all of you here and me, I really don’t require someone to tell me “just breathe”.
