coffee. meal prep, and eat two meals a day AT LEAST. Because you will be so tired sometimes you won't eat and then you will be tempted to eat at night. night shift slows down ur metabolism. you don't want to gain unnecessary weight. don't eat at night. Eating at night literally gave me GERD. also when you first switch to the night shift you will get sick. just tough it out and you will be set.
make sure you make time for you during the day after you nap. me personally i work 11-7s and I nap until 12. I usually end up taking another nap at 8pm. Make sure you make an effort to go outside and be in the sun, because night shift CAN make you very depressed. Also make sure you are interacting with people regularly at during the day
