well to be fair I don't think that's strictly true, cause I remember when I had discord, I was basically on there 24/7, I felt the need to interact with everyone and reply to everything on there cause the messaging so just instantaneous. I was on like 10+ servers lol, talking to everyone and I did not want to miss anything, I deleted the account and deleted the discord app from all my electronics after 2-3 years. never looked back
