The decision to facilitate it's return was in soon to be ex's hands... I only alerted him to what had happened and he took care of the rest from there.

I know that I did the right thing and I'd like to think that someone would do the same for me if the boot was on the other foot.

I'm still happy that the lady got her sign back... it sounds like it was very important to her.
