Last comment gets the most expensive gift from the SW gift store

So .. same age.
I want to climb a tree but the only one we have is a huge oak with the branches lke 10 feet off the ground.
So my little brain decides that if I can get to a branch the rest would be easy.
I thought I will get a ladder from the garage and that will achieve my goal.
Nope. Ladder is to heavy and awkward to carry at my height and weight. So need a new plan.
Then inspiration hits like a brick to the forehead. The swing set is almost high enough. If I stood on the very top and jumped to the branch I could then pull myself up into the tree.
So I climb the swing set and stand up on the cross bar. Then to the very tipy top. I fought to balance on such a skinny pipe but I got steady enough to be able to launch myself towards the branch.
I made it ..... to the leaves of the branch which I was still holding when I hit the ground flat on my chest.
As I lay there gasping for breath, my brother, who saw the entire extravaganza imediatly ran to the house and to my my and exclaimed.."Dain is dead"!!!!
Mo came running out to find me, leaves still in hand, attempting to stand.
She pulled me up straight and smacked me in my bottom and sent me to the house.
No cookies and milk that day.
