Why if the country is Great Britain, and the people are British, do they all seem to speak English?

@D3cad3nt it’s not, but it’s the generic language of the empire, as it is the generic language of the world, ie it’s used it USA, Australia etc. . But there is also a Welsh, Irish and Scottish language. They’re just not commonly used

[@Drcad3nt] @GLITTER Welsh Gaelic , Irish Gaelic Scottish Gaelic, I'm not sure if the are the same Language or not as I only speak English myself
