I think what a lot of people miss is that the reason religious zealots and QAnon’ers go there is that they’ve had opportunity taken from them and they need someone to blame.
Many of the progressive ideals sound wonderful, but the great state of West Virginia has shown the world that there are times when you need to forget big government and take matters into your own hands.
The extreme progressives and the big money capitalists both want the same thing: lots of money flowing through the federal government. Ostensibly, they want it for different reasons, but it provides a great deal of cover for corruption.
