Is there a reason to belittle people? Some of you on here have a habit of that.

I believe in constructive criticism, not belittling others. Belittling brings nothing positive to the world, even if you belittle someone you believe to be a jerk. Constructive criticism can bring about reason to help someone notice their mistakes or wrongs and possibly improve. So I don't think there is ever a reason to belittle others.

Constructive criticism can be more hurtful than out and out belittling. It seems counter intuitive, but I've seen people get really upset by something meant to be helpful. Maybe they feel defenceless against it. "Shrugs"
