Is helping others in need really worth it?

Someone I don't know well asked me for a favor....I'm tired and it will cost me three hours of sleep but it means a lot to them. Sooo encourage me guys....or ?
Ps: It has something to do with helping a 70 year old sick lady

Yes. You never know what people go through behind closed doors. If you have it, then give it. God loves a cheerful giver. God blesses those who show mercy on the poor & needy. Those who make fun of poor/homeless people, God will punish. You are doing the right thing because this world is full of selfish people.
