Must humankind have it's illusions so it doesnt see the predicament it finds itself in?

It's more like people are disillusioned, so as a result, they project themselves out into a different world.

@Palumbo98lucrezia I minored in philosophy in college. It was one of my favorite subjects. Today, it would be psychology, hands down.

@uncalled4 There's a complexity to studying psychology that lots don't realise and it's the reason so many drop out of studying to conclusion!

@Palumbo98lucrezia Possibly, but everything I have been exposed to makes perfect sense to me. Then again, I saw so many struggling with philosophy, so maybe my brain functions well on that level.
