What has this pandemic taught you?

It taught me to trust my instincts. I learnt a lot of other life lessons too.

I'm curious as to whether this period brought out some positivity despite everything happening all over the world. Kindly share if you felt a positivity in your lifestyle or if you've learnt something new about yourself.

1. How much I love this woman who is the love of my life. We are separated across the world by a travel ban and locked borders.

2. That I am only as secure and safe as the most selfish and ignorant around me.

3. That history repeats itself because we don’t learn. We did all the same things during the 1918 epidemic— down to winging about masks and social isolation.

4. People will reject any amount of evidence and science if they have something they are committed to believing.

5. Most everyone is committed to speaking in euphemisms about everything.

6. We have created a way of life where idling the economy is not an option. And we have created a way of life where being quiet and still is not an option.
