What was the last meaningful compliment you got?
I got told by a woman on the bus that I have "kind eyes". It's been like 3-4 years now and I still don't entirely get what that's supposed to mean.

@Spoiledbrat Not really. It always seem so hollow. Like they're doing the absolute barest minimum to be supportive, and even then it's probably not even true.

Aren’t at least lifted by the people who tell you that that you perceive as being authentic or genuine? I know what you mean tho My mil is fake nice. If she said that to me, I would not believe her. I would even resent it. @SW-User

@Spoiledbrat Of course it would be uplifting to be perceived as authentic/genuine. But I tend to see people as just being fake nice.
