I agree with you. The people saying that all lives don’t matter because BLM do are ridiculous. They don’t realize the white privilege they have.
@MeisterAndrew Like I said, now I really understand why you’re a racist. You’ve been brainwashed and believe anything that doesn’t show European dominance in a positive light is “rewritten history". Some whites are trying to do that in the U.S., too, so I’m not surprised. The difference with SA is, there were no European "good guys” in that scenario. Their very presence on the African continent, even that of the missionaries, was about "civilizing the savages", promoting white supremacy, grabbing the land and plundering it of its resources. They wouldn’t have initially gone there, otherwise.

@MeisterAndrew that's a nice load of horseshit.

Firstly, Boers were never slaves. Show me where Boers were enslaved. At best you can claim indentured servitude, and not even to the extent the Irish were. Boers never faced genocide. Boers did enslave Africans. Apartheid was ethnic cleansing and land theft from the indigenous Africans. You know full well what happened in places like Cato Manor and District Six. People of Colour were forced off at gun point and the best land given to whites.

78% of private land is owned by whites, furthermore that land was stolen through murder, ethnic cleansing and trickery.
MeisterAndrew · 41-45, M
@basilfawlty89 I knew you'd see it like that and not face reality. You've been indoctrinated into believing that white people are indebted to blacks for something they've had no part of and that there's no personal responsibility to be taken. The revisionist history has already had its effect,

Oh and District Six was tenants btw. Funny how they're now given land as owners. And most land is owned by government which is black. Why you can only seem to use the term "private land" and not government land or the vast stretches of some of the most fertile land in black trusts. But continue the hand waving.

BLMs leaders, endorsed activities of their membership, and stated agenda have very little in common with Dr. King's approach and message .. so I tend to disagree in comparing the two.

BLM violence that went on for months in this country was as wrong as any other form of use of violence.
@vorian And months of theft, destruction, assaults and other deaths .. egged on by Maxine Waters and Kamala Harris .. is justified as the right response to those deaths? Not to rationale people.
vorian · 51-55, M
@Stillwaiting wow.....hilarious.
@vorian Again without a salient response .. done with you.

MLK cheated on his wife so many times that she basically gave up on their marriage. He was serially unfaithful. He engaged in orgies and even witnessed a rape without reporting it. Is it ok for the MeToo movement to pull his statues down? Hmmmmmmm. Or is it just ok to pull down statues of white men who are politically unpopular among certain groups today? That's freedom of speech for ya! ;)

He was basically a black Harvey Weinstein using his power to exploit women by the dozen. But I guess it's ok, right?
vorian · 51-55, M
@irishmolly72 what does this have to do with metoo?
irishmolly72 · 56-60, F
@vorian MeToo is all about men using their asymmetric advantage in power to pressure women into sex. If women can feel outrage about Harvey Weinstein, can't they feel the same outrage against MLK?

It's like the people who get upset at Pride Month, or Black History Month.

I still don't understand why people assume whenever someone says "blm" it somehow means "no other races matter" ... People are weird.. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ •ʔ
Crazymatt · 31-35, M
@vorian just bc you say someone doesnt understand something doesnt make it fact. Youre brainwashed and we will stand uo everytime you try this BS
vorian · 51-55, M
@Crazymatt what bs?
vorian · 51-55, M
@MartinTheFirst how would you like it said? With a yes massah at the end of the sentence??
gregloa · 61-69, M
Saying black live matter is a bit like saying free the slaves or end segregation. What it really means is white lives don’t matter. It’s as racist as it gets. Filled with hate for white people.
vorian · 51-55, M
@MeisterAndrew so this is your experience of life as a white person. Ok. So you have literally zero experience as a black person. And yet youre definitely the victim in all of this. You should listen to yourself. Its pathetic.
MeisterAndrew · 41-45, M
@vorian And I knew you people wouldn't get it. You say I have no experience as a black person but no black person has experience as me as a white person. The term walking a 1000 miles in someone's shoes applies. You should look at history and realise white people struggled as well but we made a success of it. Black people are the only ones who can't make it even when handed everything to be successful but instead stay stuck in the past and continue to elect bad leaders that oppress them. Perhaps what's needed is some introspection and not continual outrospection.

The new comment to this affirms it again. Black people have "Black History Month" but there's nothing similar for white people even where we are the minority. That would be seen as racist but "Black History Month" isn't because it's perceived, and said, that black people can't be racist. But yes I am the pathetic one. Ok then...
vorian · 51-55, M
@MeisterAndrew yes you are the pathetic one...you really are.
JovialPlutonian · 36-40, M
Well if all lives matter (regardless of the idiots who created the group) then surely we should just start giving a shit about each other, no?! 🤔
vorian · 51-55, M
@JovialPlutonian is this agreement or not? It's not clear.
elafina · 36-40, F
@JovialPlutonian you go first
JovialPlutonian · 36-40, M
@elafina I agree that all lives do matter and that’s not only human life
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
All I hear is "what about me?"
Abstraction · 61-69, M
Brilliant! Is that your statement or are you quoting someone?
vorian · 51-55, M
@Abstraction nicked off the Internet 😂
One of the best ways of sayang it I've seen.
Brilliant. 👍🏽
