Has Humanity Reached Peak Intelligence?

There will soon come a day when a machine will wear out somewhere and no one will know how to fix it. The fight to make things cheaper. Lack of materials. The lack of discipline to record information. The lack of interest in science. All combined are destined to doom us back at least twelve thousand years. We won't even have wild foods or know which rocks to use.
