Should i Take The Offer?

First, from my car loan bank.
Offered me a 6 month deferment on payments o.o interest free o.o

Second, insurance firm.
Same offer, plus additional free upgrade of coverage and free drive-by covid test o.o

Third, Lazada, an online shopping platform for all things one can imagine.
Offered - 3 months FREE groceries, delivered to doorstep. o.o

Okay ..
Should i take the loan defer?

Also, why are people being so nice? The world must be ENDING o.o 😂[/c]

Maybe i wont be able to pay off my loan early, or i must maintain my insurance for a minimum number of years ..
i havent looked into those devilish details yet [/c]

@SW-User Definitely check the small print, especially for the free groceries. The first two offers are actually very much in their interest. If you go bankrupt because payments continue while you have no income, you won't be able to pay back the loan and will have to cancel the insurance. By offering some breathing time, they make sure they can check in the loan and keep you as an insurance customer. The free test is also meant to keep you alive so you can keep paying them. And all of that at very limited costs for them.

The free groceries is another matter. That's very expensive for them and doesn't prevent you going out for other things, so that's a huge investment for little change in the chance to keep you alive as a customer. That one sounds especially fishy, so read the fine print of that one extremely close.
