Feed The Children is the only one I do. If I were a rich man I would definitely go with Shriner's too.

kiva.org A global online microfinance charity that makes small hand up loans, which are then repaid and you can lend the same cash over and over. I recently started making loans in the name of deceased friends instead of sending flowers to a funeral. A kind of memorial if you will.

If I ever find a charity that is worth while and get at least 99% of the income to where they are supposed to be I'll think about it, currently the best is 70% and the worst is 1%
