Man impacts his environment.
It's got to the point where the planet can no longer sustain the heat his heavy industry produces.
That's affecting the weather and the ice-caps are melting.
Weather is getting more extreme. And 'events' like storms or rising sea levels are getting longer and less predictable.
Simple as that really.
