Am I the only one that doesn’t find rain relaxing?

I really don’t like it. I also don’t like a crackling fireplace.

I love it! Throw in a little thunder and I'm in heaven
I don't find rain to be relaxing, as in soothing. It makes me unmotivated because everything is dark and all I want to do is lay around wrapped in a blanket.

@midnightrose really?
@ShaythePanTransMan Really. Now, at night, if rain is used in meditative music then I can relax to it.

@midnightrose Really? It just bothers me. I do love meditative music though. I almost always sleep with it.

Staring into the fire is the relaxing part. But rain isn't relaxing it's stimulating and therfore can be an annoyance. I much prefer rolling thunder too a drizzle.

@abe182 I agree.

I love it. But maybe that's because I'm in California and we're accustomed to drought here. Rain de-stresses me.

@SW-User wow :(
Say it isn’t so 😳

@DayDreaming2 no...I find deep ambient noise relaxing, such as brown noise. I use it to do homework always.
@ShaythePanTransMan I have a sound machine that ai use at night for sleeping...it’s set to Summer Night, which has white noise and a faint cricket chirping.

@DayDreaming2 That sounds nice.
[c=#359E00]for me the relaxing part is the smell of wet soil when rain[/c] 😅
