@WithClouds: for some evil that's hard to believe. For example, there are insects who eat crickets from the inside out, keeping them alive as long as possible to keep the meat fresh. I can't imagine any human engineering that. I doubt it's even technically possible yet to manipulate creatures to give them such tricks.
