Ever hear people say, "Why bother to impeach Trump? Let the voters decide in 2020 whether they want to get rid of him?" Do you agree?

I don't agree. If Trump committed an impeachable offense he needs to suffer the consequences. I'm thinking of the following analogy. Let's say an 80-year-old commits a serious crime. Would you say, "He's going to die soon anyway. Why bother prosecuting him."

That's my thinking.

The Democrats will prove abuse of power, bribery, possibly obstruction of justice and Congress, violations of emoluments laws, violations of campaign finance laws then the Republicans in Senate can let him off the hook but at least we will know where those Senators stand. They don't care about the constitution.
