I had mine done partly because I didn't believe the story that there was native american in my french-canadian line. And I also did Ancestry to see if they came out the same. Surprise! They did! And the NA is in there (2%). Still 80% irish though.

@Lucinda Excellent!

@JovialPlutonian LOL. I believe she meant Swedish. But I could be wrong...

My dyslexia.... I read the end as Sardine! You're part fish? 😂😂 Catfish alert 😂😂
SW-User
@SW-User Yes! Sardine!!! Cats LOVE sardines!

I wonder why they hunch British and Irish together
SW-User
@SW-User because the level of interbreeding whilst Ireland was in the UK and continuing makes it very hard to distinguish from the level of dna testing they do for these tests.
SW-User
@SW-User oh that's cool to know 😊
@SW-User I think they break it down more than just lumping them together.
And not one iota of Elizabeth Warren.. I’m disappointed
SW-User
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Ugh! Thank God!
WOW!!!!! Ive always wanted to try that lol
SW-User
@Dewms Yeah, it was fun! I didn't know my heritage, so this answers a lot of questions.
Ok, what I don´t understand is that they list nationalities, not races, and in any given country there are people with many ethnic backgrounds. I am adopted , too. I also would like to find about my biological background but this wouldn´t clarify much to me.

@Underconstruction That's a good point!

Cool! i had one of those done a few years back. I just checked mine and i got 68% Scandinavian, 22% British with 7% native american and the rest some Russian. Interesting given my parents are British and Irish.

@SW-User I was adopted and never knew what my heritage was for sure. For me it was like finding out pieces to a missing puzzle.

@SW-User And my father was fostered, so yes I understand it's exciting for you, but it also brings out me asking only 'and'. Ps, 'and' is not a big statement, it's only a ask of continuing a story (I get some people use it differently)
SW-User
@SW-User Not sure what you are getting at. But whatever.
SW-User
@SW-User Many can celebrate their heritage - my 'and' in the first place was really just asking for you to share more in the ways it matter without meaning anything towards you? I can't follow the percentages of mine
Very cool ! 👍🏽
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard Thanks! I've always wanted to know!
