Have you ever witnessed someone stealing?

A couple of months ago, I was walking dogs for a client and I saw a guy with something under his shirt cross the road in front of me, he looked right at me and ran. At that exact moment I remembered I left the window partly rolled down in my car and I knew he had my purse.

I was so pissed I actually ran after him. But it's hard to be fast with a bunch of leashes.
I actually feel kind of bad for that person, I know he knew it was my purse. For a split second he felt like crap because he had to look me in the eye.
