I snuck out of work 10 mins early (which is allowed btw)

I knew what would happen. Sure enough, my manager calls my cell right on the dot when my shift should've ended. He wanted me to do something that takes an entire shift to do for another department (not mine). It's called cycle counts. To put a lengthy process short, it's counting inventory. You check products on the shelf, top stock, and recieving. The trick is to FIND IT. Flooring is one of the worse departments to do.

I was scheduled 2pm to 6pm in PAINT a.k.a Bermuda Triangle. That department is it's own monster. I am considered a paint associate, not flooring. I will help another department for sure but I'm not doing the busywork for the closer. Aside from that, sorry bud.

You're quick and slick but I'm quicker!

It's weird how they expect you to be there on time, but hate it when you try to get anywhere else on time.

They spread you kinda thin there dont they?

@Groofydorkgerdo all the time

@XReaganX I know how that feels.

That was wrong of him. Unless you are one of his most valuable ones, then he should pay you good for that.

@XReaganX Loyalty only goes so far without compensation.
XReaganX · 26-30, F
@carsonfry I'm pretty loyal but it's physically impossible to be at two places at once.

@XReaganX Yeah, if he asked that of you, he is the one that is incompetent.
