How do you deal with people that are nice and friendly...

but post ridiculously stupid and uneducated shit like denying global warming

It's easy
P.s. There is no Global Warming

@Milkshake Look at the clues I left. I have many more.

@Milkshake models require assumptions. Past behavior does not predict the future. Besides, the models also require estimates. Studies have shown that the estimated amounts are skewed. Look at temperature sensing data and man made vs natural causes.
@HoraceGreenley you cheated. you used real science.

Nice and funny people don't judge, nor do they care about your opinion of them.

@curiosi thats actually a good point

It's not called "Global Warming" any more, I think you'll find. Because ecology scientists got their predictions so wrong in the late 20th Century they decided to rename the phenomenon as "Climate Change", which is imprecise. As with other "world problems" the issues have been overstated by those with vested interests - AIDS was never the threat to straight people it was made out to be, and how many aeroplanes dropped out of the sky on 1st January 2000 because of the "Millennium Bug"? The universe has been around longer than the arrogant scientists who claim to "know it all". I'm not denying that the planet is going through a period of climate change but it did that a long time before mankind made their appearance.

you don't..

I try to show them facts and help explain how they are different than opinions
I don't see a problem in denying global warming or challenging climate science.

It really depends on how you do it.

My background is in science, and I don't have the background to rigorously support or defend climate science. Really any science outside my own field.

So I'm mostly confused as to how they are so certain.

I pretend they don't exist

That’s a hard one. It’s like people you otherwise like who still make excuses for having voted for Trump. 🤦🏽‍♀️
