Hmm ok .. I read it... I skimmed a little but got the gist.. I have two thoughts.. 1) child abuse where the child is hit and abused by their mother is real.. it happens ... so the story is believable from that perspective..
However, 2) my first thought was.. that it's written too much like a story.. too dramatically, too story like.. not really the way someone has been abused would say it.. too calculated..
I don't discount that the person could have been abused.... but she has dramatised it - heavily.. which makes it hard to trust it's all accurate - at very least it has been very heavily embellished.. Perhaps the writer felt she had to embellish it in order to get money.. but my instincts are to not trust it.
It's also on a question site... which again seems calculated as it's not the right venue for asking for money.. so this makes it seem like this person is sending it out all over the place..
I have been abused... I KNOW the desperation to get out and that it makes one do desperate silly things... but I am not sure that this feels real..

@Adaydreambeliever i can now see that, wow, and to think i felt guilty about not helping this person out. oh well, regardless of understanding the desperation it could've been done somewhere else. am i just too trusting? i gotta cut that out, oof
