Do you think there should be a cut off point in regards to age, when a person should no longer be driving?

I read this story yesterday... 😔

An elderly woman has died following a single-vehicle fatal road traffic collision in the car park of a supermarket.

The female driver, 91, was in the car park of a supermarket on Trinity Street, Wexford when the car she was driving hit a tree.

The woman was seriously injured and was removed to Wexford General Hospital where she later passed away.

She was the sole occupant of the car.

The collision occurred at about 1.50pm yesterday afternoon.

Yes!

Above a certain age there should be a driving test every 2 years, and once that is flunked, no more license.

@SW-User Honestly, I think there should be a driving test for everyone every 2 years, and they should be like the ones in Europe, not the joke of a test they have here.

@SW-User What is the European test like?

@SW-User it's WAY more difficult and comprehensive, and takes much longer to prepare for. Also, they don't let you drive until you're 18 and there's a much lower weight limit before you need additional qualifications. You can't just get into a 3 axle U-Haul truck and drive off.

@SW-User I like the idea of waiting until 18 to drive.

@SW-User when I was getting insurance for my car in Holland, the system rejected my driving experience because I had been driving since I was 16 😕

@SW-User My mom had been driving early like that, but she grew up on a farm.
