Have you ever given a homeless person money?

I haven't, and never will in this economy. It's like, c'mon dude, there's three businesses hiring RIGHT BEHIND YOU.

I understand what you’re saying and fair enough, but I personally think It’s hard for people with degrees to even find a job these days, so I don’t think it’s as easy as getting a job. These people have their own stories and issues and shouldn’t be treated like one case with one solution. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with giving a helping hand.

@NickiHijab Hey, it's your money, do with it what you will. Personally I'd like to have to assurance that my money is going to a good cause instead of just going to booze and drugs. I'd rather donate my money to charities that help get people in a better place, or volunteer at a homeless shelter, or, as some people have mentioned below, give a homeless person food to make sure they get a good meal that day. But that's just me though, you do you.

@melovemycats Fair enough. It’d be more ideal to give food rather than money anyway but sometimes i’ve been in a rush and couldn’t afford to stop and get food so i’ve settled for money.
