What do you think of KiwiDan and would you do him?

It's not hard to imagine that people will read the above question and avoid it. That's fine by me, since it's just there to fill in that required field.

I'm at a bit of an impasse mentally. I want to keep going, but there's no real value in doing so, and I'm not getting a whole lot out of it. But at the same time, there's nothing to be gained from not doing it. I'm just sort of stuck. With no idea what to do, my mind is just going around in circles, chasing its own tail (as it were). Does it even really matter? That point covers the inane question above as well, just to tie the two sections together in some tenuous way.

I'm curious about what you mean when you ask, "Does it even really matter?"

When you say "it," what are you referring to? Life?

Don't worry, I know we're not talking suicide here. Just philosophical questions. I'm curious what you're specifically asking about - is it whether life matters, has a purpose, etc.?

@Paloma Actually, it's being a part of SW. It's been stagnating for me for a while, and I'm just not sure what to do next.

@SW-User Oh, sorry, I guess I took the question too far. I have no great insight here. To me, SW is just a neat place to kill time and chat with a wide variety of people. But I imagine that there are many other reasons to be on SW. People have quit, and if the site is no longer fulfilling your reason for being here, then maybe it's your time as well. But I don't know.

@Paloma It's OK. I guess I'm questioning how SW influences and impacts my life as a whole, so you were sort of right. I have to figure out what exactly I'm trying to get out of SW in the first place, which I never really knew in the first place. I don't know anything.

@SW-User It'd be sad to see you go, but it is understandable. People find other things and move on all the time. I'm kinda feeling the same way. People I'd like to talk to are missing or busy, and it makes coming here not as much fun.

Maybe a break is in order? Recharge the social media batteries?
SW-User
@SW-User Potentially, but my last break is what got me feeling this way in the first place. I'm in an odd place mentally.

@SW-User I hear ya. I used to play a lot of video games and such, now it seems I can't be bothered by them. 😥 It's odd for me to feel this way about something that used to bring me happiness. But the feeling must be similar to what you're going through, not knowing what to do to get back to a state of happy.

@SW-User Pretty much. It's like everything is but a distraction and the appeal is wearing off.
