Was I wrong to have respected my elders in my youth?
Now when I encounter youth that don't respect me I don't know how to deal with it. Like maybe if I had disrespected my elders I'd have a better idea how to deal?

Some of them would really benefit by the way you treated elders if you share it with them. It seems that kids aren't taught that the way we were as kids
